Administrative Assistant / PCT

As a Patient Care Technician / Administrative Assistant (Hybrid Role) at DaVita, you'll be part of a Team that values work-life balance and prioritizes your personal and professional growth.

DaVita has an open position for a hybrid teammate who will primarily function as a Patient Care Technician (PCT) while also providing administrative support in an outpatient settings. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on patient care while also supporting clinic operations behind the scenes, making a difference in the lives of our patients and their families dealing with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease.

In this role, the majority of your time will be spent delivering direct patient care as a PCT, including preparing dialysis equipment, monitoring patients during treatment, documenting care, and ensuring a safe and supportive clinical environment. In addition, you will support administrative responsibilities such as treatment logs, patient charts, invoices, and purchase orders. You may also assist patients with transportation arrangements and physician appointments.

Requirements:

• We seek a personable individual with excellent computer and clerical skills (Microsoft Office).

• Type 60 WPM

• High school diploma or GED.

• Obtained their CMS- approved Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification and at times operates as a PCT.
