Dialysis Technician (PCT)

DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease at our Ridge Park Dialysis outpatient clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

To maintain your full-time hours you will Float and assist at our Rockside Dialysis in Independence, Ohio and our Parma Heights Dialysis locations.

As a PCT, you’ll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.

Some details about this position:

  • Operational Hours: Mon-Sat 4:15am - 3:00pm (at Ridge Park, hours can vary when floating to Rockside or Parma Heights) ​

  • PCTs expected shifts for this clinic: 3-4 days/week with a minimum of two Saturdays/month and can be asked to start as early as 4:00 am

  • This clinic uses Fresenius machines and has 13 chairs. The shifts are scheduled with 1 RN and 2-3 Dialysis Techs.

  • Hours of work may vary during the training period; however, you will typically be working between 32-40 hours per week during training

  • You must have a flexible schedule and be able to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday

  • Reimbursement for your Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT) license

  • Training may take place in a facility or a training clinic with a class of new teammates other than your assigned home clinic


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care

  • Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment

  • Set up and maintain dialysis equipment

  • Record vital signs and patient data

  • Educate patients on treatment and kidney health

  • Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members


Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment

  • Physically able to work long shifts on your feet

  • Willing to float between local clinics if needed

  • Flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Preferred: CNA, MA, CHT, phlebotomy certification, or healthcare experience
