DaVita is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor / Clinical Coordinator to join our outpatient dialysis team. In this leadership role, you’ll help bring life-sustaining care to patients living with end-stage renal disease and chronic kidney disease—while guiding and supporting a dedicated clinical team.

If you’re passionate about delivering care with empathy, clinical excellence, and accountability—and you’re ready to step into a leadership role that truly makes a difference—this may be the opportunity for you.

Why Consider Nephrology?

If you haven’t worked in dialysis before, we encourage you to explore this specialty. Nephrology offers the opportunity to build deep, long-term relationships with patients and their families while applying a broad range of nursing skills in a highly collaborative outpatient setting.

DaVita—Italian for “giving life”—is committed to being the Provider, Partner, and Employer of Choice, delivering exceptional care to patients while supporting and developing our teammates.

What You’ll Do

As a Registered Nurse Supervisor / Clinical Coordinator, you will:

  • Coordinate and oversee care for patients with ESRD, including trending lab values, monitoring vital signs, managing weights, and supporting outcome management initiatives

  • Provide direct patient care while supervising and supporting PCTs and other clinical teammates

  • Ensure the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and clinical quality are consistently met

  • Serve as a clinical resource and leader within the facility, supporting daily operations and clinical decision-making

  • Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teammates to deliver individualized care plans

What to Expect in This Role

  • Build meaningful, long-term relationships with patients in an intimate outpatient environment

  • Work as part of a small, interdisciplinary team where RNs play a central leadership role

  • Care for patients with multiple co-morbidities, requiring strong clinical judgment and adaptability

  • Lead patient care activities with the support of PCTs, including patient observation, machine setup, and monitoring

  • Thrive in a fast-paced setting where you’ll work with your head, heart, and hands every day

  • 3 days working on the floor and 1/2 to 1 day administrative duties

What We Offer

DaVita’s Rewards package is designed to support you at work and at home, including:

  • Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, and PTO cash-out

  • Family and wellness support: EAP counseling, Headspace®, backup child and elder care, parental leave, pet insurance, and more

  • Paid clinical training and professional development

Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice

  • Current CPR certification

  • Minimum of 3 years of registered nursing experience

  • Dialysis Charge RN readiness approval by a Clinical Nurse Manager or RN-licensed FA/GFA

  • At least 6 months of dialysis experience preferred

  • ICU, CCU, ER, or Medical-Surgical experience preferred

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred (three-year diploma from an accredited program may be substituted)

  • Completion of CMS-required training prior to operating the water treatment system

  • Supervisory experience preferred; willingness and ability to lead and supervise required

  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in MS Word and Outlook

DaVita is a clinical leader! We have the highest percentage of facilities meeting or exceeding CMS's standards in the government's two key performance programs. We expect our nurses to commit to improving patient health through clinical goal setting and quality improvement initiatives.
